L. George's Coney Island has been part of the Joy Road neighborhood since 1958 — a familiar stop for generations of Detroiters. Through all the years and changes, we've stuck to what works: honest diner food, generous portions, fair prices, and a door that's always open. From the regulars who know the menu by heart to first-timers grabbing a late-night coney, everyone gets the same warm welcome.
